SPECK

This blanket’s artwork was made using a screenprinting technique learned many years ago during my first internship when I was still deciding whether to pursue knitting or screenprinting. Over time, all the lessons I've gathered have melded into a unique creative perspective, a melting pot of experiences tailored precisely to who we are at CURIO.

Our process makes the difference. CURIO has always practiced creating pieces that are not just functional, but also works of art. The respect for the product, and the creation process, is evident in every stitch. From the sustainable sourcing of our yarn, to the meticulous hand-finishing of each edge, we pour our passion into every detail.

The Speck Blanket is knitted from two of the finest 17-micron Merino wool yarns for unparalleled softness, while the other two ends are crafted with deadstock cotton. The CURIO label is embroidered in Central Victoria using Australian cotton.

Knitting for this piece is extremely limited and will start on the 10th of Feb, once our deadstock cotton yarn runs out in this colour we will not be making any more. The joys of working for a limited-fibre
