THREAD CUSHION

Knitted from pure Australian merino wool, this cushion is a quiet composition in line and rhythm, where each stripe is a gesture, and each gesture is a form of drawing.

The title recalls Alexander Calder’s words, “I draw with wire the way I draw with a pencil.” Here, thread becomes the medium: no zipper, no synthetic fibres, only wool and intention.
