A very substantial turtleneck, knitted from 100% Australian Merino wool.

Two colours of Merino are knitted together to create a CURIO yarn blend,  a custom combination of tones that shifts across the surface rather than reading as one flat colour. Up close, the individual yarns remain visible; from a distance, they merge into a colour of their own.

Made using eight ends of yarn to create a dense, weighty knit with a large, thick neck and an oversized shape. Each jumper weighs approximately 1kg, a lot of wool in one garment.

The neck is intentionally generously knitted with extra tension so it will loosen perfectly with wear.

Caring for your jumper
This is a piece made from only wool, and with a little care it will stay with you for a very long time.

Cold hand wash only, using a small amount of gentle wool detergent. Reshape while damp and dry flat. Do not machine wash and definitely no tumble drying.

You may notice pilling in areas of friction, particularly under the arms, at the sides or where a bag or coat rubs against the knit. This is part of the character of wool and can be removed with a wool comb or an electric wool razer.

The jumper will soften and settle over time. Caring for it, mending it when needed and giving the wool a little attention is part of keeping it in use for many years, hopefully long enough to pass on.
