1-Of-1 YARNBOW THROW

This is the first throw-sized piece I’ve ever made. A full, generous blanket where colour moves like watercolour bleeding across the surface. Made entirely from yarn ends, each strand is a fragment of past work, coming together in a way that feels limitless.

There is no pattern, no repetition, just instinct. I gather the yarns I’m drawn to, tie them together mid-process, and let the machine knit a shifting landscape of over 120 colour changes. The oversized check pattern emerges naturally, its form dictated by the way each colour finds its place. No two sections are the same, and the effect is fluid, almost painterly.

Hand-finished, with a CURIO label embroidered in Australian cotton in Central Victoria. A piece to live with, to soften with time, to take on new meaning as it becomes part of your space.
