1-Of-1 YARNBOW

This piece is made from yarn ends, often left behind because there isn’t enough to complete a full project. There’s something about a nearly empty cone of yarn that I love,perhaps it’s the memory of what I’ve knitted with it, like an archive of my colours. Each knit is entirely guided by intuition, as I gather the colours I’m drawn to and stop the machine sporadically to tie knots with each new cone of yarn. Often, these one-off pieces feature over 120 unique colour changes.  1-of-1 piece, I couldn't make it again even if tried. 

Please note the front and the back of this blanket are very different, the magic of using so many different yarns.
